About

In 1983, Alan Firkser and Suesanna Voorhees opened Paper Conservation Studio in a small garret at Madison Avenue and 84th Street in New York City. We moved to our current location at Columbus Circle in 1998.  Following Suesanna’s retirement in 2000 Alan has continued to run the company serving the art community and private collectors conserving prints, drawings, watercolors, graphic arts, historical documents, letters, etc.

Feel free to contact us with any conservation questions.
